Bistro Provence

East Boca Raton, French.

Good tasting food, however real small portions. Veal Scallopini consisted of 3 medallions each the size of a 50 cent piece battered and fried. With that came about 1/2 a carrot, maybe one asparagus and a dollop of mashed potatoes. On a positive note, the bread is good … you need it to fill up. Also had the duck, and here the portions are good. So, in my opinion avoid the veal and the lamb shank. Fish and poultry portions are normal. And for dessert, try their puff pastry or cheesecake, but no on the flour enriched “flourless” chocolate cake.

And as a final note, take cash, as this place doesn’t accept American Express, and as a matter of fact, this place doesn’t even take Visa or MasterCard … hard to believe that in 2008, a restaurant that doesn’t accept credit cards!
