Renzo’s of Boca

East Boca Raton, American.

Italian. A group of nine of us left a wedding and headed to dinner at Renzo’s. They start the meal with lots of table appetizers on the house. Nice touch. Menu is a bit pricey, however portions are good, and dinner includes a salad and choice of vegetable or pasta. When we asked for separate checks prior to ordering, the waiter got angry and turned off many of our guests, however after asking management claimed that our request was acceptable, however I think he felt he got even when he spilled tomato sauce on my shirt and didn’t tell me about it. Oh well, the Veal Cutlet Parm dinner now costs $26.50 plus tip plus dry cleaning. Another negative was the loudness of the restaurant. Tables are very close to each other and there is a piano player. Very loud. I could not hear the person directly across from me sitting at my table. Definitely not a romantic place, and with a waiter having an attitude. Despite the attitude, the food was good.
